Hawzah News Agency- Muhammad ibn al‑Hasan ibn Ahmad ibn al‑Walid narrated that Muhammad ibn al‑Hasan al‑Saffar narrated from Ahmad ibn Abi Abdullah, from his father, from Safwan ibn Yahya, from Ishaq ibn Ghalib, from the one who narrated to him, from Imam Baqir (pbuh), who said:
الْبِرُّ وَ الصَّدَقَهُ یَنْفِیَانِ الْفَقْرَ وَ یَزِیدَانِ فِی الْعُمُرِ وَ یَدْفَعَانِ سَبْعِینَ مِیتَهَ سَوْءٍ.
Kindness and charity repel poverty, increase life‑span, and avert seventy kinds of evil deaths.
